Abstract

In this paper, we show the existence of the wave operators for the Schrödinger equation with time-dependent variable coefficients by using the method introduced by the author and K. Kato [14] and give characterizations of their ranges by wave packet transform similar to those in [14].

The author is grateful to Professor Keiichi Kato for useful discussions. I also thank the referee for several valuable comments suggestions.
