Abstract
We study the analytic function $\eta$ defined on the unit disk by $\eta(\lambda)=\lim_{n\to +\infty} P_\lambda^{\circ n}(-\lambda/2)/\lambda^n,$ where $P_\lambda$ is the quadratic polynomial $z\mapsto \lambda z+z^2$.
