We consider parameter estimation problems for the non-ergodic fractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process defined as $% dX_{t}=\theta X_{t}dt+dB_{t}^{H},\ t\geq 0$, with an unknown parameter $% \theta >0$, where $B^{H}$ is a fractional Brownian motion of Hurst index $% H\in (\frac{1}{2},1)$. We assume that the process $\{X_{t},t\geq 0\}$ is observed at discrete time instants $t_{1}=\Delta _{n},\ldots ,t_{n}=n\Delta _{n}$. We construct two estimators $\hat{\theta}_{n}$ and $\check{\theta}_{n} $ of $\theta $ which are strongly consistent, namely, $\hat{\theta}_{n}$ and $\check{\theta}_{n}$ converge to $\theta $ almost surely as $n\rightarrow \infty $. We also prove that $\sqrt{n\Delta _{n}}(\hat{\theta}_{n}-\theta )$ and $\sqrt{n\Delta _{n}}(\check{\theta}_{n}-\theta )$ are tight.

Dans ce travail, nous étudions des problèmes d'estimation paramétriques relatifs au processus d'Ornstein-Uhlenbeck fractionaire non-ergodique défini par $dX_{t} = \theta X_{t}dt + dB^{H}_{t}, t\geq 0$, où $\theta>0$ est un paramétre et $B^{H}$ est un mouvement Brownien fractionaire d'indice de Hurst $H\in]1/2 , 1[$. Le processus $\{X_{t}, t\geq 0\}$ a été observé (de façon réguliére) aux instants $t_1=\Delta_n,\ldots,t_n=n\Delta_n$, c'est-à-dire pour tout $i\in\{0,\cdots,n\}$, $t_{i} = i\Delta_{n}$. Nous avons construit deux estimateurs $\hat{\theta}_{n}$ et $\check{\theta}_{n}$ de $\theta$ fortement consistants, c'est-à-dire, $\hat{\theta}_{n}$ et $\check{\theta}_{n}$ convergent presque surement vers $\theta$ quand $n\rightarrow\infty$. Nous avons aussi prouvé que $\sqrt{n\Delta_n}(\hat{\theta}_{n}-\theta)$ et $\sqrt{n\Delta_n}(\check{\theta}_{n}-\theta)$ sont tendus.

In this paper, we study the existence of an optimal control for systems, governed by stochastic differential equations of mean-field type. For non linear systems, we prove the existence of an optimal relaxed control, by using tightness techniques and Skorokhod selection theorem. The optimal control is a measure valued process defined on another probability space. In the case where the coefficients are linear maps and the cost functions are convex, we prove by using weak convergence techniques, the existence of an optimal strict control, adapted to the initial filtration.

Dans cet article on s'intéresse à l'existence d'un contrôle optimal, pour des systèmes gouvernés par des équations différentielles stochastiques de type champ moyen. Pour les systèmes non linéaires, on démontre un résultat d'existence d'un contrôle optimal relaxé, en utilisant des techniques de tension et le théorème de sélection de Skorokhod. Le contrôle optimal obtenu est un processus à valeurs mesures, défini sur un autre espace de probabilité. Dans le cas où les coefficients sont linéaires et les fonctions de coût sont convexes, on démontre en utilisant des techniques de convergence faible, l'existence d'un contrôle optimal strict, adapté à la filtration initiale.

The aim of our paper is to present an exhaustive study of the estimation of first order autoregressive models with exponential white noise under innovation contamination. Some theoretical aspects and Monte Carlo results are presented in the study of the stability of this estimator when the model is contaminated. Using the methodology of Andẽl based on the mean stationarity of the process, we prove that the maximum likelihood estimator of the parameter is asymptotically stable with respect to the bias and the mean square error. Also, some results of the small sample case are obtained.

Le but de ce travail porte sur l'estimation d'un modèle autorègressif ayant un bruit exponentiel contaminé. En utilisant la méthode d'approximation d'Andẽl basée sur la stationnarité en moyenne du processus, nous prouvons, moyennant des résultats analytiques et numériques, que le biais et l'écart quadratique moyen de l'estimateur du maximum de vraisemblance du paramètre sont asymptotiquement stables.

The quintile share ratio (QSR) is a recently introduced measure of income inequality, also forming part of the European Laeken indicators which cover four important dimensions of social inclusion (financial poverty, employment, health and education). In 2001, the European Council decided that income inequality in the European Union member states should be described using a number of indicators including the QSR. From the definition of the QSR, a (traditional) nonparametric estimator for it follows easily as a plug-in-type estimator. However, not much is known about the theoretical properties of this estimator. In this paper the estimator is defined and its asymptotic distribution theory derived. Using a simulation study, some finite sample properties of the limiting normal distribution are explored and reported on.

Le rapport des quintiles (QSR) est une mesure d'inégalité introduite récemment et fait partie des indicateurs européens couvrant quatre dimensions importantes de l'inclusion sociale, à savoir, la pauvreté, l'emploi, la santé et l'éducation. En 2001, le Conseil Européen a décidé que l'inégalité du revenu dans les pays membres de l'Union Européenne devrait être décrite par un certain nombre d'indicateurs y compris le QSR. De part sa définition, on obtient facilement un estimateur de substitution pour cette mesure d'inégalité. Cependant, très peu est connu sur les propriétés théoriques dudit estimateur. Dans cet article nous définissons l'estimateur nonparamétrique du QSR et nous donnons sa distribution limite. A travers des simulations, nous explorons la loi limite ainsi obtenue, à savoir la loi normale.

In this paper, we propose a new robust tail index estimation procedure for Pareto-type distributions in the framework of randomly censored samples, based on the ideas of Kaplan-Meier integration using the huberized M-estimator of the tail index. We derive their asymptotic results. We illustrate the performance and the robustness of this estimator for small and large sample size in a simulation study.

Dans cet article, nous proposons une nouvelle procédure de l'estimation robuste de l'indice de la queue pour les distributions de type Pareto dans le cas d'échantillons censurés, sur la base des idées de l'intégrale de Kaplan-Meier en utilisant le huberized M-estimateur de l'indice de la queue. Nous dérivons leurs résultats asymptotiques. Nous illustrons dans l'étude de la simulation la performance et la robustesse de cet estimateur pour un échantillon de petite et grande taille.

The Bayesian significance test for a change in independent gaussian samples in the presence of single outlier is considered. The impact of an outlier on the performance of the Bayesian significance test is studied.

Dans ce travail, nous considérons un test de signification Bayésien pour la détection de rupture dans un échantillon gaussien en présence d'une observation aberrante. L'impact d'une contamonation sur la performance du test est étudié.

In this paper, we introduce a kernel-type version for the bi-dimensional extension of the Foster, Greer, and Thorbecke index that was introduced by Duclos et al.(2006) for the purpose of a dominance approach to multidimensional poverty. The measure they used in their dominance exercise is essentially a generalization, from one to two dimensions, of the FGT index with separate poverty aversion parameters for each dimension. Our estimator is constructed by using a bidimensional Parzen-Rosenblatt kernel of a probability density function ($pdf$). We next provide its complete asymptotic behaviour by establishing its almost-sure uniform and its uniform mean square consistencies. A simulation study shows that it performs well for small samples comparatively to the empirical plug-in estimator. Our results are also extensions of those of Dia (2008) and of Ciss et al.(2014).

Dans ce papier, nous proposons un estimateur pour la version bidimensionnelle de l'indice de pauvreté de Foster, Greer et Thorbecke, introduit par by Duclos et al.(2006) pour l'étude de pauvreté dans un cadre multidimensionnel grâce à la dominance stochastique. La mesure qu'ils utilisent dans cet exercice est en fait une extension bidimensionnelle de l'indice FGT avec deux paramètres pour l'aversion de la pauvreté, un dans chaque direction. Dans le processus de construction de notre estimateur, nous utilisons l'estimateur bidimensionnel de la densité de probabilité de Parzen-Rosenblatt. La convergence uniforme presque sûre et la convergence uniforme en erreur quadratique moyenne sont ensuite établies. Des simulations numériques montrent que notre estimateur se comporte bien, même pour les échantillons de petites tailles, face à l'estimateur empirique. Nos résultats constituent aussi une extension au cas bidimensionnel de ceux de Dia (2008) et de Ciss et al. (2014).
