Abstract

In the case of radial weights, the Mizohata–Takeuchi conjecture was independently verified by Barceló–Ruiz–Vega and Carbery–Soria. We discuss certain aspects of these influential papers and make connections with our own recent work on optimal constants for Kato-smoothing estimates.
