Abstract

Using some recent fixed point theorems of the author (based on Brouwer’s fixed point theorem and continuous selections) we generalize previous results in the literature on the existence of maximal elements. Then, existence results for equilibria are presented for one-person games which will then generate, after some analysis, a variety of existence results for N-person games.
