September 2023 Some Characterizations of The Rayleigh Distribution

Abstract

The Rayleigh distribution is a continuous probability distribution for skewed non-negative valued random variable with applications in various fields of technology and natural and social sciences. The characterizations are used to identify the distribution of real data. In this paper we will present several characterizations of the Rayleigh distribution based on truncated first moment.

La loi de Rayleigh est une loi de probabilité absolument continue de variables aléatoires à valeurs non négatives asymétriques avec des applications dans divers domaines: technologie, sciences naturelles et sociales. Les caractérisations sont utilisées pour identifier la distribution des données réelles. Dans cet article, nous présenterons plusieurs caractérisations de cette loi basées sur le premier moment tronqué.
