2014 Radford's formula for generalized weak biFrobenius algebras

Abstract

In this paper we introduce the notion of a generalized weak biFrobenius algebra (or briefly GWBF-algebra) which is designed to cover both weak Hopf algebras and bi-Frobenius algebras. Then we study properties of various modular elements of GWBF-algebras. As an application we mainly show Radford's formula for S$^{4}$ in the setting of GWBF-algebras.
