Abstract

The following is an electronic text in French regarding Blaise Pascal's computing machine. Published in 1645, the title is: "Lettre dedicatorie a monseigneur le Chanceliier sur le suject de la machine nouvellement inventée par le sieur B.P. pour faire toutes sortes d'opérations d'arithmétique par un mouvement regle sans plume ni jetons."
