Abstract

We show that the perturbation estimate for the matrix equation $X-{\sum }_{i=1}^{m}{A}_{i}^{*}{X}^{pi}{A}_{i}=Q$ due to J. Li, is wrong. Our discussion is supported by a counterexample.
