Higher Fano manifolds and rational surfaces

Abstract

Let $X$ be a Fano manifold of pseudo-index at least $3$ such that $c_1(X{)}^2-2c_2(X)$ is nef. Irreducibility of some spaces of rational curves on $X$ implies that a general point of $X$ is contained in a rational surface
