Abstract

In this note we will show how one can describe the representation varieties of certain Fuchsian groups using the Luna Slice theorem and the technique of local quivers. We will illustrate with one specific example: the Fuchsian group $\mathbb{Z}_2 * \mathbb{Z}_4$.
