Advanced Studies in Pure Mathematics contains survey articles as well as original papers of lasting interest. Each volume grows out of a series of symposia and workshops on a specific topic of current interest.

Advanced Studies in Pure Mathematics is published for the Mathematical Society of Japan by Kinokuniya, Tokyo, and starting with Volume 20 is distributed worldwide, except in Japan, by the American Mathematical Society. ASPM is edited and published by Mathematical Society of Japan starting with Volume 30.
