Abstract

Let Ω be a bounded measurable set in Rn. The best polynomial approximation operator was recently extended by Cuenya from Lp to Lp1.

In this paper, we extend the operator of the best polynomial approximation from Lp()(Ω) to the space Lp()1(Ω).
